Two weeks ago, during a podcast interview with the
MassivelyOP gold">new world gold roundtable, we expressed our
skepticism about the game's fledgling economy and whether
or not it would ever be able to recover and escape the
oversupply problem that had caused the trading posts to
resemble wasteland-like settings. Over the course of a
few months, it has turned out to be quite the polar
opposite of what was expected. Contrary to what has been
stated on Reddit and the Player Auctions blog, a member
of the community has informed us that there is a shortage
of currency supply rather than an oversupply of goods and
materials in the game. For the first time in the history
of massively multiplayer online role-playing games
(MMORPGs), inflation is not associated with this
phenomenon, as has been the case in the past.
In order to keep inflation
under control, some players believe that Amazon has set
up an excessive number of drains. This is despite the
fact that the amount of currency being pumped into the
game is only a small fraction of the total amount of
currency available. When compared to the number of
faucets that game developers are unable to avoid
including in their games as a result of contractual
obligations, games typically contain a disproportionately
small number of faucets. Because the game does not reward
much currency for PvE activities, it is difficult for
people who play New World to make ends meet. Instead, the
game requires them to pay exorbitant fees for everything
from crafting to housing, as well as taxes on the land
they occupy. The large number of empty trading posts that
have appeared from town to town in the game's early
stages suggests that a barter economy has developed on
some servers, despite the fact that a barter economy has
not yet developed on all of them. This is demonstrated by
the large number of abandoned trading posts that have
popped up from town to town in recent years. Thus,
purchasing brand-new items has become significantly less
expensive than repairing old ones, effectively rendering
crafting obsolete – and the risk of damaging items you
already own prohibitively expensive, particularly if your
primary activity in the game is something that does not
generate much cash, such as PvP.
Any evidence that your world-gold">new NW for sale server is exhibiting any
of the symptoms that you were experiencing on your
previous server has been provided. Examine whether or not
you believe that the economy of New World is already in
trouble, and if so, what you believe Amazon should do to
assist it in regaining its footing and regaining its
former glory. If you believe that the economy of New
World is already in trouble, consider what you believe
Amazon should do to assist it in regaining its footing
and regaining its former glory.
Even though Amazon's New World MMO has only been up and
running for a little over two weeks, there have already
been some technical difficulties with the game's
operation. Additionally, Amazon has been forced to
retract previous promises regarding server transfers,
claiming that it is unable to provide them across
regional boundaries or to fully loaded servers (a
restriction that was only implemented after the game's
release), among other things. As a result of a mass-
reporting exploit, companies are gaining access to the
game's servers, allowing them to reclaim the territories
that they had previously held in the game before being
banned.
When it comes to PvP systems in New World, it goes
without saying that the territory control system is the
most important PvP system in the game's final phase,
especially when it comes to the game's final phase.
Player's can seize control of territories controlled by
Companies affiliated with opposing factions during the
course of the war, allowing them to expand their own
influence and build an even more powerful empire. In
turn, players looking to attack or defend their own
territory on the server are attracted to the massive
50v50 PvP battle for control of the territory that
results as a result of this. Other players have the
ability to attack or defend a player's home territory.
After all is said and done, it's possible that New World
players will be able to take advantage of an exploit to
significantly reduce the strength of their adversary's
forces before the battle even begins, allowing them to
avoid participating in one of these battles entirely.
Eventually, war and territorial control would become
completely insignificant, which is exactly what is
happening right now....
An anonymous Reddit user going by the name of
KollotheCoinMan shared this information about how they
and their company were taking advantage of a flaw in the
New World game to gain additional territory for
themselves and their company, which they described as
follows:Something similar to this occurred approximately
five days ago. Several Redditor's went into greater
detail about how they and their company conducted a sham
investigation into competitors who were reporting them
for spurious reasons in a subsequent post, which was
later removed from the site. A small number of reports
were submitted through what appeared to be an automated
system, as a result of which the opponent was suspended
after a short time period. In the words of
KollotheCoinMan, his New World Company took advantage of
the mass-reporting exploit to ban Company leaders
controlling territories multiple times before claiming
ownership of the disputed territories. KollotheCoinMan
claims that his New World Company is a for-profit
corporation. The New World Company, owned by
KollotheCoinMan, has categorically denied making such a
claim.
As a result, Amazon has been made aware of the situation,
and they will take whatever steps are necessary to
protect the interests of their customers. According to
current indications, reaching an agreement on a solution
will be impossible for the time being. As a result of the
widespread use of the exploit, according to official
responses, New World has implemented both automated and
manual bans. Despite the overwhelming evidence to the
contrary, this is still the situation in many cases. Some
users who report having had their accounts suspended or
terminated are receiving an automated response that
prevents them from attempting to have their suspensions
or terminations lifted in the future when they attempt to
have their suspensions or terminations lifted.
A growing pain is inevitable for every MMO, and this is
especially true for MMOs that grow at a rate faster than
their technology and employee base can support. Despite
the fact that it is understandable, this does nothing to
alleviate the frustration of having to wait for solutions
to be implemented. So while Amazon is concentrating its
efforts on providing free server transfers to customers,
there will almost certainly be sufficient development
resources available to begin addressing this exploit and
punishing those who take advantage of the situation as
soon as it becomes possible in the not-to-distant future.
